Sheila Lynch, MA, LPC (she/her)

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (PA and NJ)

In-network with Highmark BCBS and Quest (Penn Behavioral)

We all want to feel accepted, loved, appreciated, and heard. I'd love to help you unpack what has kept you from feeling satisfied in any area of your life.

Talking with me may feel like confiding in a trusted friend. One who won’t judge you, will listen to everything, and will accompany you through any problems you’re facing. I believe that healing happens through the relationship that we will build. I will accept you as you are, knowing that if I can help you do the same for yourself, that’s when change will come.

Through our work together, you will learn to validate your feelings and needs, communicate them to others, and turn your capacity for acceptance and compassion inward. I’ll help you examine your patterns and beliefs, understand how they developed and how they once served you, and decide whether they still do.

If you are used to ignoring or diminishing your needs or your stress-level, deciding to engage in therapy can be an incredibly difficult step to take. If you’ve read this far, you’ve already decided it’s worth a shot.
